 Speaker’s topics could include:

• Family history for beginners
• Using Parish Records
• Census for local historians
• Irish ancestry for beginners
• Role and facilities offered by NDFHS

 Family History Help days usually include:

• Research team to help beginners
• Assistance with problems and/or means to progress
• A range of relevant talks/presentations
• Leaflets and a range of publications

 At the time of writing the NDFHS Events Co-ordinator is working in collaboration with Local Studies Departments of:

• Northumberland County Council
• North Tyneside Council
• South Tyneside council
• Darlington Local Authority
• Durham City Council
